Quick Clip: 1 Watt Marshall JMP Demo (with Gibson Les Paul)

1 Watt Marshall JMP amp.

I used the same riff for each of the one watt videos. It may not be the best riff, but I wanted consistency between the videos so you could get a better idea of the tones. I wanted something with big chords so you could hear note clarity, as well palm mutes for the tightness.

@markdube4 It's really not that brittle. I think it's how he recorded it here. In person it's like a creamy, bassier JCM800.

I have that little amp but the "combo" version.  I never tried it on a 4X12 cabinet but heard a lot of good comments on it.  I'm wondering if a 1 watt amp can simply control the low frequencies of such a cabinet because it takes power to damp them enough.  Secondly, I have no problem creating feedback on mine since it's a 10 inches speaker in it.  Does that make a difference ?  Finally, I play single coils on it (fender) and I can have a clean tone lower than "3-4" (volume scale).  Nice demo; thanks !
