When I was in the United States Air Force and was attending tech school, each barracks would fall in line, after breakfast, and we would all march in uniform to the school building at the Air Base. It was fun and the crisp mornings were ideal for us marching soldiers. I remember Sgt. Buchannan pulled me over and asked me if I had been in band in school. He wondered, as did I, where did I learn to march that well. Great memories.
