The closed captions, CC button says that closed captions are not available. Is that on purpose? and oversight? Please remedy that so this is accessible to those who rely upon captions. By the way, I love the app and use it often. Had come here to find some videos to share with a friend.

Trialing the free version. Biggest issue is names do not show on my vehicle navigation which has current android auto installed. Names show as un-titled waypoint.

Just downloaded it last night. So far I like it pretty good but not perfect. As I travel in my car wish the map would follow me as I my position changes and also have a better compass. I will use this for flying my ultralight airplane but just short distances. I like the bigger text for streets, better than most apps I’ve seen. Bought a Garmin 60csx, nice features but map too small.

I like Gaia. One pet peeve is it starts with location on my phone or windows laptop 2500 miles away from my current location (Alaska)and there is no way to update so it starts near my current location (Montana).

I absolutely HATE the “map packs.” How do I get back to the old map layers that I could actually download and use?

Good evening I like the look of gaia and what it's supposed to do. I've been getting very i frustrated with gaia, as every time I try to record I find after a short time it stops and have to keep starting it again. I have done everything the Internet and other users say to do, but still stops recording my travel.

I just downloaded this to see what the hoopla was about. So it did not find me I had to enter my position or if at home my address. Today I took it were there was no cell service and it only showed me where I entered my address 40 kms away. I could not zoom the map out, it kept snapping back to, my home address. How is this suppose to help my in the wilderness if lost but I need to tell it exactly where I am, if I knew that a I would not be lost.

clickbait, misleading title. Pure marketing, zero "the basics." As someone considering getting the paid version of the app this does not bode well.

Why is this called "the basics"? You didn't show us anything on how to use the app. Would like to know how to tilt more in 3d mode...less of sales/cheerleading.

my map downloads freeze at some random percentage like 87% or 97% and never finish loading. Is there a solution for that? (Yes, my internet connection is fine. Yes, I rebooted my device and it is connected to power and internet)
