Dr. Rush: So my name is Jeremy rush. I'm an orthopedic surgeon. My primary focus is pediatric and young adult orthopedics and sports medicine. So after my residency, I did extra training, and pediatric orthopedics. I did my pediatric orthopedics fellowship at the University of Tennessee, and then I did additional training in sports medicine at the University of Virginia. One of the things that I love the most about my job is the variety. So on any given day, I will see athletes all the you know, all the way from the age of two or three, all the way up to patients who are in their 20s. So I may see a three or four year old soccer player who broke the wrist. And then I may have a 19 or 20 year old football lineman, you know, a guy who's bigger than I am, who dislocated his shoulder. So the great thing about my job is the variety, being able to take care of a wide range of athletes from different backgrounds, different injuries on a day to day basis.
