In your video i hear you say "Alexa, are the kids up?" is the "Are the kids up" in your case a routine, or does the node-red skill not require you to prepend "ask node red .."?

i dont think a movement sensor is accurate enouth to determine if someone is sleeping.
Better ways:
Build a bed occupancy sensor to check if someone is in bed. Use two uninsolated cables unter the mattress. They touch, someones in bed.
OR/AND:
method two: use a fitness tracker for there movement/pulse. they cost about 25USD and they can tell if youre sleeping by themselves and if not, you can check things like last movement (how hard someone moved) and pulse
