As for charging, all newer United jets have charging but they do still fly some older ones that haven't been upgraded.

I like the format. I have to be honest we try to avoid LAX if we can, so I found a couple of comments spot on in regard to it. The last two years all our "short" flights have been Allegiant or Frontier, but all our longer flights including international have been on one of these carriers (well except for one with British which was a really good flight) so I was interested in your "reviews". We like Delta just a bit better, but have not been disappointed by United. Next summer we will again look at them as well as American.

I flew United to New York from Los Angeles on a 787-10 2 weeks ago and flew back to Los Angeles on Delta the other day on an A330-900 and I actually found Delta more better

Loved how you presented this comparison of Delta and United. I'm a Delta girl but have flown other airlines as well. Will add that if you are AMEX SkyMiles member you always get one free checked bag. I always have a small roll on bag and crossbody purse. Since we live in GA, have access to many direct flights from Hartsfield Int. Look forward for you doing MOR comparison videos!!

I don’t love united but they have the most flights from Newark and lately they’ve been the cheapest directly. Which is surprising. They’re also the only one with a direct flight to Lima. Baggage fees are ridiculous.

I fly all three of the major airlines. I have to say by fare the best is Delta. I have the most issues with American Airlines.

Delta really is a step above the rest….Free wifi for all is super cool and their Sky Clubs, especially the new one at LAX with the outdoor bar rock ! Won’t fly United as at 6’2” it’s painful…..

How is delta responsible for your TSA experience?

I fly both! Delta is better. I was looking for a plug for my phone and the flight attendant told me this isn’t Delta

Did you add your TSA number to your mileage number or reservation? If you don't see it, stop at the counter and they would add it for you. That goes with all airlines.

Is it true that different airlines purchase different elevations in the sky so some are more likely to be able to avoid bad turbulence?

The updates are coming to the UA aircraft and tons of new of ones now on the way.

I think United basic economy doesn't include a carry on. Also on some flgihts, the overhead fills up by the last few boarding groups although on the newer planes, they have made room to accomodate a carry on for every passenger.

I find it really common even on American that passengers are only allowed personal items. Maybe it's just that I tend to be on small planes... but it ends up taking forever to deplane because everyone is crowding the jetway waiting for valet. I tend to be on American more often than not lately because it tends to be more direct from DC... and the terminal is nicer. I used to think nothing of many connections to save a few bucks... but then there were always delays and getting stuck... so I love a direct flight now!
