NTR which is the abbreviation of Netorare. There are several variations of NTR, but netorare is the most common one. It could be in the form of just losing your girlfriend, to them sleeping with another party.

Netorare is when the girlfriend, wife, or lover is taken by someone else. It could be by force, blackmail, or even consented by the party involved. It's also vice versa for male.

Netori is the act of taking the partner's of others. The opposite of netorare.

Simply put, Netorare is when your partner is taken. Netori is when you take the partner of another person.

Like the video author said, people usually confuse the meaning of NTR. NTR is when both party are in a relationship, or just have feelings for one another. Potential partners who people arbitrarily ship together does not fall into that category. An example would be the first woman the MC from Zom100 had feelings for. The co-worker one. Since the only one with feelings in this situation is just the MC and they werent in a relationship any further than just being co-workers.

Do note that if you intend on getting into the genre, youd be better off leaving your brain off. The parties involved in such works usually dont have one.

Exp would be girls allowing themselves to be held just because the blackmailing party have a video of them and their partner kissing in school. So they think it's better to be held with the promise of the video being deleted. Which usually doesnt, and the other party even getting more material to blackmail with.

My advice, stay away from the genre. You will at first find it repulsive, but in time will like the genre. Since the bloody art involved in said genre is so damn good.

Edit: The thought came of as to why I suddenly typed all this after finishing. Maybe I was just bored.
