Can you explain what’s happening as this thing starts leaning forward even while all four copters are flying? Someone mentioned something about magnets, holding it down at the bottom. Is there some kind of button or hitting to reverse the magnetism and release it so it shoots out like that? What are we looking at here, bro?

Beta flight has a "lunch control" like in cars. You hit a switch, it gets into position and stays there until you throttle above a set threshold... It's one switch and the throttle stick. Nothing special and this is implemented like a year or even longer...
