In today’s video, we discuss Attribution Theory and how it helps us understand behavior. When we observe someone’s success or failure, we often wonder about the reasons behind it—Is it due to hard work or luck?

We focus on two types of factors:

Internal Factors: Such as a person’s effort and capabilities. For example, if a student studies regularly, we attribute their success to hard work.
External Factors: Such as favorable situations or luck. If another student passes without studying, we might say they were just lucky.
Understanding these factors influences our behavior and how we perceive others. Next time you evaluate someone’s behavior, consider whether it’s internal or external.
