ANYBODY used a water conversion for these? If so what is your observation of doing such, my wife is too lazy to roll up our front yard hose after she waters her flowers, I have to roll it up EVERY time b4 I cut the grass, I'm considering one of these but with longer hose where she will be FORCED to real it back in

Do they sell longer hoses or is it possible to add an extension hose?

Stiff hose in winter should be the kind of house you use then some should be more flexible than others. I know that since I don't have that kind of reel you showed us I have to unwind all the hose out in winter hanging it from the ceiling, it gets so stiff. I have to be very kind to it when I use it.

Cold Weather Stiff Hose? My question deal with how easily the hose retracts in cold winter weather? Just like the garden hose is hard to roll up in the winter, how rigid does the how become? How well does the hose retract on the metal reel when the temperature is say 32 degrees because not everybody has a heated garage?
