The corpse knows the rules of the spell, answering even rhetorical questions so he can just get back to sleep

Whoever wrote this scene knows how a typical dnd encounter plays out.

This whole film so far looks like it was written by a couple guys sitting in a corner transcribing a campaign. I love it

Bro this literally happened to me in a campaign. I only had 3 questions and wasted my last one but I still felt like an idiot afterward.

Movies based on games tend to be... less than entertaining. But in only 30 seconds, you've convinced me to buy a movie ticket. Well played, Paramount. Well played.

Legit happened in a campaign. “I get one question, right?” Aaaand that was that. 😂😂😂

I have a strong feeling that the writers where playing D&D at the same time.

I love Pines delivery of ”Fantastic. Where’s the shovel?”

I saw this a while back and thought, "Hah, we're too smart for this, this would never happen to us, " and then last session our Warlock spent all five questions being dramatic.

I love how not-seriously this movie is going to take itself. It's going to be so much fun! I also appreciate how the corpse was just a straight-up puppet instead of full CGI. Can't wait.

This is proof that they either have D&D writers on staff, or they did a lot of research online.

Bro this shit literally happened in my campaign. My players kept throwing out questions in front of the corpse.

OK, that was genuinely funny to me. Chris Pine has great comedic timing.

I love how the entire movie just plays like an actual d&d game that could happen

Such a simple yet so funny interaction that's honestly better than most of Marvel's recent humor
