Ideco Speed Kit Comparison

Comparing tripping pipe using the Ideco Dual Speed Kit vs the conventional method. In this study, the speed kit is seen to eliminate roughly 27 seconds per stand while RIH, and 22 seconds per stand while POOH.

The transfer elevators move stands to/from the derrick, allowing the main elevators and blocks to stay busy only on the heavy lifting of the tubing string.

I didn't think anyone still used that setup.. way faster, but from my understanding, the elevators and blocks were weak sauce
