The basic laminated masterlocks you get from Walmart, the ones with the blue rubber thing around them, have the same flaw. I found that out by accident while trying to pick them for fun. Then I kept hitting that one spot instead of managing to pick them.

I believe that kinetic energy by smacking it on a surface also could open it as well, meaning any kind of object hitting it enough time would knock the secure pins out of the way

You are using a Master Lock model 605. It can be opened with a Master Lock 605.
