GREAT leader and servant to LFC…not an all time great player but he was quality and lead a huge club with class and to great success winning everything.

You see the thing about Hendo is that people don't appreciate his work. The man kept that team together, he kick started what the front three of Salah, Mane and Bobby feb of! The mna played 8 and 6 like no other, his work ethic is second to none, his reading of the game being able to plug gaps in our defense when Robbo and TAA bomb forward.

We always disrespect players that don't succeed at the far end of the field. For instance Busquet isn't spoken about enough on that Barca team. Football is about everything not just highlight reels the man is a PL Legend

Liverpool legend, due to being the captain of a PL and UCL winning team, but not a PL legend, he was not a world class player but he was a great leader who gave everything and led by example. Players like Gerrard and Viera were great leaders too but they were also world class players.

I think to be a premier league legend, you have to be in the discussion for being in the best ever premier league XI. And Henderson, just isn’t at that level. He’s not getting into conversation with Scholes, Lampard, Gerrard, Keane, Viera, De Bruyne, Silva, etc etc

He was just a good motivator on the pitch n that one can even be done on the side line buh can’t remember a moment on the field where he rescued Liverpool wen it needed a hero like a goal out of blue or an assist or a game saving tackle or clearness on a goal line in big games

The reason Liverpool didn't win that first title under Brandon Rodgers is because Henderson got injured towards the end of the season and was replaced in the team by Steven Gerrard. Henderson has been immense for Liverpool!

He’s a Liverpool legend and that’s all that matters. Lifted the Champions League and the Premiership after 30 years. Is he a fancy player no but you need a Jordan Henderson type player in every successful team, otherwise they’re not going to be a successful team 🤷‍♂️

As a Sunderland fan I agree. Great player, great pro all through his career but don't think he will be thought of in the same top players who have graced the premier league. As an additional thought he has to take that kind of money if that's the figures offered...no brainer

Hendo is a legend but he doesn't have that god status like others! He was the engine that kept Liverpool going.

Hendo going is not a problem in terms of him as a player he's 33 had a poor season and his time is up the money is irrelevant it's not 700k looking more like 350k without tax which is a significant jump from is current LFC contract but calling it life changing money for a multi millionaire is a ridiculous statement. The other main thing to come out of this is how the last week as been handled from Hendo and his PR machine, not a good look definitely tainting his time at LFC and the messages he has stood for has went out the window for a pay rise this all feels abit odd from a captain that has done nothing but good for the club on and off the field.
