I was afraid for a bit when this popped up that this would be like the New series, with its multiplayer/MOBA focus, but all the stuff says no, it's still a single player focused game, with co-op and PVP as the secondary stuff, though the campaign is full co-op.

Also, it's an actual sequel, so we will see some returning characters from the first 3...not too much detail yet, so it might just be them cameoing, like how in 3 the 1 and 2 protags are side characters.
