Side note from a Singaporean: These rules do NOT apply to those who cannot take the vaccine, only for those who choose not to take it.

For those of you that have never been outside this country, the United States healthcare system is considered a long-running joke by the rest of the world.

I live in America and I am afraid of going to the hospital for an emergency. Not because of my health, but because it can financially ruin me.

The biggest problem in America is that there's a huge gap between the people whose income is low enough to receive free healthcare and the people who can actually afford to pay for it out of pocket (even with insurance, which by itself can be very expensive). Many people find themselves not able to afford simple treatment because they aren't poor enough for government assistance and aren't rich enough to pay.

Wrap your head around that. Receiving subsubstandard medical treatment is seen as an American thing.

Here in the UK this videos is quite disturbing. Our National Health Service (NHS) was founded in 1948 by a Labour government. Although it is paid for by all those who work by a small amount of their wage taken in the form on National Insurance, it is a fair way of a society to help each other.
And now the fear is that our NHS is being farmed out to private companies to.... guess where.... the US of A.

Would be the same in Switzerland. The American healthcare system is a joke.

The most common words you will hear from a healthcare worker in America is: "Do you have insurance?"

It really baffles me on why assault rifles are more affordable than healthcare treatments in America…

This says a lot about our "healthcare" system! Our healthcare insurance companies over charge us for medical care. So many have to decide whether to pay rent or medicine!!!!

Ronnie Chieng, telling it like it is! To be treated like an American is a punishment in other countries. Should be some kind of a BIG CLUE...

I'm American and I have a genetic disorder, but I would honestly trade a finger for guaranteed healthcare coverage that would'nt cost me $500 for an MRI. That cost includes what the insurance company pays.

Funny thing is: in France our gross to net salary is the same rate as in the US for most of the population, the income tax rate is 1% below that of the US for minimum wage, but we get "free" healthcare and they don't

Also Ronnie was referring to MEDISHIELD when he said 'BLUE SHIELD' - Medishield is every Singaporean basic medical plan/insurance which are heavily subsidized, when they need medical care. Every Singaporean have them. Everyone.
