Have a similar story, was depressed about 4-5 years ago and all I had was video games, played with these group of guys when I was at my lowest in life. Really helped me through some tough time, when I finally got my life back together I flew out to see them in Oregon had the time of my life, I fly up there every year now. So thankful for their friendship those group of guys did more for me than they’ll ever know

12 years? Damn, I met a guy like that for 4 years and when I went to visit, I gave him what my parents called a bear hug. People at the airport thought we were brothers or something and were cheering. Still like to think of him as my brother, I love the guy

I had the privledge of this not long ago. Met the kid when he was 13 and got to be there to help talk him into the military to escape some bad family problems. He joined at 18 not long ago and i got to meet him the first time in person for his basic grad. It was surreal!! And im super proud of him
