Regarding an office GMT versus a true GMT, I think it's a matter of simply what the wearer needs. I rarely have to travel and I haven't left my time zone in over twenty years. I'm fine with my office GMT watches. I rarely have a practical use for them. I just think they're cool.

With the new Myota 9075 rolling out to more and more brands we will have a lot of very attainable options in the True GMT category.

Flyer GMT is nice but it in reality it saves you an extra 10 seconds each time you land in a different time zone. The Monta is expensive for a SW-330. You can get a watch with that movement and quality build/finishing for half the price. A really great true GMT for less than $1k is the Mido Ocean Star GMT, if your wrist is over 7"

I have a bit of advice for people looking to buy micro brand watches. If that is 200% what you want, get it! BUT if it isn’t, you’ll do what I did, you’ll get something like this GMT and wish you had the GMT you really wanted and you will have spent money on a watch you really didn’t want because you didn’t want to save and wait. Please, don’t do what I did because is all it did was delay me getting the watch I really wanted. I made the mistake of jumping on the buy a bunch of watches band wagon and is all it did was delay me getting the one true single watch I daily wear now. Get the watch you really want, even if you have to save and wait.

My primary use for a GMT watch is to use it as a compas, which means both hands set to the same time zone, could care less about true vs caller.

The white dial version of the Monta GMT would be great to get hold of. I always hear good things about this brand.

i dont consider a caller gmt as a con, depends on your use, change date and GMT hand many times is way easier. if youre traveling more than 2-5x a month to a different timezone, a traditinal GMT is way better (like a pilot which is what the GMTs were made for right?)

It's a very nice watch, I think I'd opt for the Formex Reef GMT, but they're comparable specs, value, and price wise.

The San Martin SN0005-GMT-2 is in my opinion a nicer looking and has better specs. Most reviewers won’t look at it because it’s sold on AliExpress.
Pity because it’s a real stunner.

The Ginault bracelet definitely gives it a run for its money. Might actually be better.

Entertaining video as always Jory. I am lucky to own a Monta Noble and it really is quality for the money -- so yep I pulled the trigger on one of these and now waiting excitedly for its arrival. As others have said, I would have preferred the original white dial and I'm perplexed as to why they Monta didn't stick with that.

The Glycine Airman is a good caller GMT with rich history heritage. I have the Luminous base 22 model. The GL0213 in PVD and with exihibition caseback.

I have a Monta Skyquest V.1 and it's my favorite watch by a mile. This version is less to my liking than the old style but the build quality is fantastic.
