*New AYO + Update:*
The AYO+ is now being shipped which offers 3 brightness settings and up to 150 lux max output vs the old 100 lux. It can be set to 20, 30, and 40 minutes sessions, and has a 655nm red light option for your eyes. It also emits Bluetooth while changing settings.

Thank you for the review. I work night shift and I'm exploring ways to improve my circadian cycle and try to get enough fullspectrum light during the first hours of my day (i don't get almost any natural light) Would you say this glasses are more effective than a phototerapy lamp as the verilux's options? i'm planning to make a good lamp following your other tutorial video to use in the first hours while i work with the computer. Would you say the lamp its more cost effective than these glasses? which one would you recommend?

Also, there are some cheap glasses options in Aliexpress for around 60 dollars, have you tried those? (i would assume that for the price they must be kind of useless, nevertheless sometimes these copies are not that much worse and you get like 80 % of functionality for a small fraction of the price)

As a night shift worker, these videos are very helpful. Thank you!

Very informative, thank you. I just ordered one. Previously I used the Feel Bright Light but my old one finally died. Their old models were good but the new models are such junk that I was looking for something different. The Luminette seems like what I want and hopefully it will last.

If you’re wearing it “wrong” (say the blue light is in the upper part of your eye instead of the lower part, or way below the eye) will the glasses be less effective or maybe even counterproductive because the other colors get in your eyes too much?

I'm a bit confused about the proper positioning, what color I should see? If I position the glasses to have the blue color on the lover part of my eye, I'll see the orange if I look up to the hologram.
Do I need to position it the way that I will see the blue part of the spectrum? To do so, I need to raise the earpiece a bit and have the blue strip in the middle of the eye.

AYO glasses DO in fact emit Bluetooth.
I emailed AYO on Jan 4 2024 and they say;
“Yes, the new model emits Bluetooth signals. However, it is using a Bluetooth Low Energy component, specifically the one with the most limited bandwidth (e.g. 10-100 times less than Bluetooth headphones). Bluetooth Low Energy is designed to be more energy-efficient, which may result in lower overall power consumption and, consequently, potentially less electromagnetic radiation during operation.”

Thanks for the useful review. However it might be worth updating the video with this information
