How to grow Phalaris

Gardeners garters (Phalaris arundinacea) is a perennial water plant that prefers a position in part shade. It produces a small seed spike and features a combination of green and white striped leaves which can be trimmed when necessary. Phalaris grows to a width of 60cm and 100cm high. An excellent pond plant to provide cover for frogs.
