The battle scene was great, there were massive battles combined with 1v1 battles. Dwarves kicked arse, Bard was great, Legolas was OP and the scene with Sauron was the best of them all. Hands down the best movie of the trilogy. 8.5 score

This is gonna be so fucking epic!!!!, I know how so many people hate the hobbit movies but honestly I just love them. Yea they are not LOTR but they are epic and awesome in their own way and I think that people came to this movie with high expectations and then it didn't deliver. So haters gonna hate but hating something dosen't mean its gonna change or get better so just embrace it, because its worth embracing.

"ROTK" had the battles for the final fate of Middle Earth, this is going to be on a much, much smaller scale. It'll feel better in the actual film, I'm sure.

So I was thinking all we were going to see were the ancient Gundabad Orcs that are the kin of Azog and Bolg, but looking at the catapults that the Trolls are carrying it looks like there are the remnants of the Goblin King's followers too. Nice to see that they weren't forgotten about.
Also, why so much complaining about the CGI? Ok, so there are one or two dodgy moments but LotR had more than a few dodgy moments with the prosthetics, especially when it came to the scale issue regarding the four hobbits. Look at Merry and Pippin during several shots when they and Boromir are fighting the Uruks a the end of FotR, and look at Merry during several close-ups of Eowyn riding in the Battle of Pelennor in RotK - in at least two of those shots Merry is literally a dummy!

Peter Jackson really did a good job for the Battle of the Five Armies, the most funniest part is when Dain Ironfoot arrived and said to Thranduil that he will split his pretty face lmao.

I think those are the hill trolls strapped with stone throwers on their backs from the strategy game battle for middle earth: rise of the witch king with a Goblin crew. Nice touch there.

Don't get me wrong this is badass, but in the Hobbit trilogy does it seem as if its always sunset or sunrise? Everything seems a bit glowy to me
