WEBINAR: Introducing the Multi-sectoral MHPSS Assessment Toolkit – Version for Field Testing

The Inter-Agency Standing Committee MHPSS Thematic Group on Mapping and Assessments (co-chaired by World Health Organization (WHO) and MHPSS.net) in collaboration with UN agencies (UNICEF, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), has led the development of an updated Multi-sectoral Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (#MHPSS) Assessment Toolkit for use in humanitarian settings.

Needs assessments, mappings and situational analyses are critical to informing the MHPSS response in humanitarian crises.

This session covers:
- How the toolkit was developed and builds on lessons learned in assessment and mapping over the past 10 years
- How this assessment toolkit has been updated and is different from previous toolkits (e.g. WHO UNHCR 2012 MHPSS Assessment Toolkit).
- What information can be found in the toolkit including steps of the assessment process. - Considerations for specific groups, integration of MHPSS into sectoral and multisectoral assessment and specific assessment tools
- How to field test the toolkit in your organization and where the toolkit is already being used
