This guide is aimed more towards those who are not used to sniping or know very little about how to use the Longbow effectively. Whilst it is now a long ranged beast, it can also be effective in short to medium distances.

Okay that crouching tip and the quick ads with a close range sight tip are actually so crucial. No doubt i'll have to practice them a lot before they become more automatic in my play but they make so much sense.

I'm learning to use this weapon. Steep curve for me, but very rewarding. It's a lot of satisfaction to down someone this way.

I see that advice about sniping a lot. But I've never been in a sniper fight where I can try to look to the right read some tiny numbers look back to the middle of the screen measure up a line below.. I have to strafe I have to fire or I'm going to get my head blown off. I could just Fire Two Shots before checking the rangefinder and doing the math.

My tip of the day is if your getting shot at whilst riding the balloon don't just stay still spin around the wire makes you harder to hit especially if there trying to hit you with a longbow, same with when your flying off the balloon don't just fly in a straight line duck and weave.

I'm a far better sniper than I am up close with anything other than a shotgun. I squeal like a fangirl when I get a digital and a longbow.

Great content as always, but is there anything you can do about this compression? 1080p looks like 480. Different encoder settings?

If you're so far away from a target that you need to compensate for bullet drop, then you're too far away to follow up on that shot in a timely manner. Don't shoot until you move closer. For this reason, stick to blue and purp close and mid range scopes.

You don't need much ammo if your running a sniper maybe 1 or 2 stacks of ammo max so make shure to save a few slots

My favorite site on longbow is the 3x I don’t need the meter gage at all I’ve played BF1 religiously so it’s pretty easy for me to eye ball my shots 😂

How does quick scoping (not finishing the ads animation and firing - usually helpful in cqc) exactly work in Apex? Does it give instant 100% center accuracy or do I need to actually finish the animation? I wasn't able to conclude testing that myself. Thank you!

Forgot to mention if you have pathfinder you can technically stay up in the out of game area forever because his grapple loads every 10 seconds so u can just jump of quickly and grapple back up for another 30 seconds

Tricky things that I haven't get a chance to test it and might be useful in combat:

1. Can Mirage decoy(tactical) block a door so enemy can't open and we can run away?

2. Can lifeline use her tactical while knockdown, fully heal and back to combat  or somebody has to revive?

I only use the bruiser on the longbow usually and I wreck with it. Longbow r99 is a very powerful combo atm.

Longbow is the new wingman for me. More starting ammo....close to the same rate of fire*...An hits harder.

Am I the only one who hates using sniper scopes on longbow?

I always just ping the enemy look at how far away my ping is and from there I'm pretty good at calculating how far they move from the original ping.

I picked up a longbow as my first gun just so I had a weapon and then I downed 5 people in the next 2 minutes and have loved it ever since
