TESTING OUT $400 Colored Pencils

Okay, let’s speak facts here.

1$: They have more of a neutral color (1 point+)
400$: they have a yellowish, warm color (0 point added)
1$: They have some spaces in the middle, which means they’re not pigmented (0 point added)
400$: They have pigment, and are more creamy (1 point+)
1$: You can add layers, but light ones (0 point added)
400$: You can add more layers as u can see her adding the lashes (1 point+)
1$: Have sharp edges, makes them more easy to add details but may not show because of the pigmentation (0.5 point+)
400$: because of their creamy texture, they may break easily and can’t use a sharper for the type of the pen (0 point added+)

1$ total points: 1.5 points
400$ total points: 2 points

The 400$ wins!
But remember, it’s not about the tools, it’s about the person and their abilities :D

TBH the only real difference is that the expensive ones are a little bit more pigmented.

I like both imo, id say if you took the eyelashes and the eye color from the $400 one, and added it to the $1 one, i think it would great, but there both awesome in there own way!

I've heard that the real factor of how well your pencils perform is the paper. I tested it out the other day, and that's indeed true! The gray paper I got at an art store was way better than regular printer paper, the colors were way more opaque and intense
