Your video was too helpful!!! I did the problem right, but I got a negative answer. So by watching your video I notice that I subtract -14x to the left instead of -13x to the right side. Thanks for teaching step by step.

Hi Brandon, ty for all you do. I'm a little confused about removing the 3x on one side. Because 3x is a multiple equation, wouldn't you use the inverse operation to remove it which would be division? I understand that minusing it would bring it to zero but isn't that going against the inverse operation rule? Ty so much.

Hi there! First, thank you for sharing the LIFESAVING gift you have been With this problem I found that I worked it correctly up until the final step of 8/11. I divided them and came up with a decimal. Is this a step I should never proceed with and always let the final answer rest as a fraction?

I added 4 to both sides and then got 3x=14x-8. After that, I subtracted 3 from 3x and 14x and got x= 11-8. I know I got the wrong answer, but was adding the 4 where I went wrong? Do you always try to move the X's to one side or cancel one out at the beginning?

What would of happen if instead of you taking over +12 to the other side, you would of taken over +4 to the other side. Would that change the answer? Sometimes idk which one to bring over
