Good Greif, they sound like they're made of Styrofoam every time you stick that knife into them . I'm about to start an interior paint job in a log home myself. With a 30' High cathedral in it. 1st thing I noticed as soon as I walked in to do an estimate is the water damage that's found its way in around Every window sill & all around the huge plate glass windows that make up the cathedral eaves. Not 1 window is sealed properly which means a weeks worth of prep just to insure a quality interior paint application 👍. Appreciate the video.

Rot must be addressed no matter the new siding. Im on one very similar now. Homeowners want the cabin saved! Slow n Steady!

Did you guys put the rocks on the side of you home too? I am under contract with a log home and they had plywood but I want to do the rocks up against it but that will be after sealing and caring for the logs. If you did do you have a video of the products you used?

They need to address the eve is way too small allowed more water hitting the logs mine is at least 24 inches
