11:28 those glowing toggles, once you activate them you can STORE them in your workshop and keep the menus they toggle on and off open. Saves them sitting there on the ground looking somewhat out of place like that. DO NOT scrap them. If you do you effectively toggle them off and therefore can't access their menus until you create them, place them, and activate them.

This is a very cool build!

There are good tutorial on YouTube how to place water using cva usually just have to be high enough to place or some have to use the general selector post from qwapa
