Please dont feel like you have to excuse your appearance!! I noticed it's something you do in quite a few videos. I find it very interesting that almost all of the "bad" foundations are really high end (at least in my budget). And I'm very glad the True match made the "good" list, it's been my go to for YEARS!

Haus Labs was the first foundation that I found a perfect, undetectable match for my skin tone. AND my skin feels better after I use it. It really does improve my skin. I’m fifty five, normal to dry-ish skin.

The Jones Road is my holy grail. Since I turned about 40 absolutely no bases sit on my skin, no matter how much I hydrate or prime. Patchy, dry, sitting in my until this baby came into my life. Funny how different we all are but I'd given up hope of ever finding a base to work... ex beauty blogger and foundation was my life!

You 100% influenced me to buy the TirTir foundation. I am really enjoying it. I have oily skin and I hate the way foundation feels when I'm wearing it. The application and the finish of that foundation is really quite impressive and with the other tips you've given for oily skin, this has lasted the best of all foundations I've tried. Never sleep on L'oreal foundations! I will use pro glow and it just melts throughout the day and looks even better. I am 35, (but a hard 35 like ungodly work hours, stress, pollution from diesel engines, dehydrated diabetc skin lol) and people in my new town thought i was like 25 when i went out to the bar with this foundation on. I love how natural, skinlike and buildable it is. It plays nice if you build your contour into your base, even with other foundations. Its gorgous with any primer or without primer. plays nice with face oils, moisturizers, concealers, anything. My fav combo is using glow recipe niacinamide dew drops to prime or my random reduce redness primer from smashbox that is about 78, 000 years old xD but I just saw that they're discontinuing it so i am buying as much as I can :(

At 65, I thought Jones Road, would be my go too, as I believe I’m in the targeted group, as I am as dry as a desert. This stuff, is a no go for me. It covered nothing, and never dried down. I looked like an oil slick. Powdering it, was a disaster. That just made it a cakey oil slick. So far my go too: a drug store brand. Cover girl simply ageless with olay, the one in the bottle. Perfection. I’m so dry, this goes on and hydrates, doesn’t go flakey, or sit in my lines. Covers what I need it too. Happy days.

So glad it wasn’t just me that had issue to Jones Road foundation. The finish on me was chalky & it felt heavy & dry on my skin. It didn’t help that it smelled like Noxema cream. However, Jones Road was very kind and gave me a refund & I didn’t have to return the product which saved me a trip to the past office. Given their good customer service I will try their other products. ☺️

I'm an old lady who's always loved playing with makeup! I stopped wearing it for a very long time because my favorite foundation that made my skin look flawless, looked caked on top of my skin! It was hideous! The foundation was Revlon Age Defying Foundation. I was looking up something on YouTube and a video came on about makeup! I checked it out and started watching tutorials about the right stuff for mature skin and skin prepping. After a couple fails, I found iT Cosmetics CC+ Illuminating Foundation and it's allowed me to love playing with makeup again 💜💜💜
