Try This Great Butternut Squash Recipe - Spicy and Sweet!!

This baked butternut squash recipe is a dish we commonly make throughout the fall season and into the winter when squash is readily available. The spice mixture adds just enough flavor to offset the sweetness in the squash. It is easy to pair with any main protein such as pork, beef or chicken. It is not too heavy on the carbs and rarely do we have leftovers. Roast at a high temperature to add some crispy bits and texture to the dish! Squash also doesn’t take a long time to cook, so it’s a quick addition to any weeknight meal.

Ingredients:
1 lb butternut squash, cubed
2 tbsp olive oil
¼ tsp each of:
- white pepper
- ancho chili powder
- coriander
- cumin
- cinnamon
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste

Makes approximately 9 servings (100 grams)
