Today's tip — How to get visibility into how your team keeps customers accountable their onboarding tasks.

A handy tip to report on the action your team is taking to help customers make progress in onboarding and quickly identify “at risk” customers.

How do you set it up?

Step 1 - Create calculated properties
1. Add a new date property for “Today’s Date”
2. Create a workflow to automatically update “Today’s Date” (link in comments)
3. Add a new calculated property: Days since last contacted = Last Contacted - Today’s Date
4. Add a new calculated property: Days since onboarding progress = Last Arrows Task Completed - Today’s Date

Step 2 - Create a custom report for Last Contact vs Onboarding Progress
1. Select “Reports” → “Reports” → “Create Custom Report”
2. Select "Deals" as your primary data source and check the box to include "Sales Activity"
3. Select the "Combination" chart type
4. Add "Deal Owner" to the X axis
5. Add "Days Since Last Contacted" as Y axis #1 and "Days since onboarding progress" as Y axis #2 with the Aggregation set to "Average"
6.Click "Save as new report"

Step 3 - Create a custom report for “At Risk” Customers
1. Select “Reports” → “Reports” → “Create Custom Report”
2. Select "Deals" as your primary data source and check the box to include "Sales Activity"
3. Select the "KPI" chart type
4. Group by the "Deal Owner"
5. Add "Count of Deals" as the Value
6.Click "Save as new report"
