It's actually quite common for the rain to have a dividing line, being the spot where the cloud is, or the cloud happens to be active. It's just unusual to see those spots. Growing up we all noticed that the spot/line were this community started or stopped from the one next to it, happened to be a natural line were rain would start or stop. And probably a connection to how the mountains were laid out and the movement of the clouds over and around them.
Also, one summer day, my plants and garden really needed watering, but with my health issues, pain and exhaustion, I seriously didn't feel like doing it. So I didn't a little rain dance with the intention of it watering my plants. In the meantime several friends happened to come over, and they started noticing the rain was unusual. It was raining only on my little house and tiny yard, but absolutely no where else anyone could see. They were going from window to window and door to door, checking it out and freaking a little. I told them I'd done a rain dance hoping it would water my plants, not knowing for sure if it would work this time or not, but I sure as hell did NOT expect for it to only be raining on my place. Really cool 💜
