Montée Impossible Arette 2023 | Nitro Hill Climb Rockets

Montée impossible of Arette is back with a great Impossible Hill Climb event, at the heart of Pyrenees in France.

Impossible climb of Arette remains an incredible challenge for riders who dare attack it. Rarely reached, the summit refuses most of them, with a slope between 70 and 82% and jumpy sections, it is not so easy to cover the 230 meters of the hill of La Mouline.

With Prototype Monster Dirt Bikes, Superbike engines combined with motocross and enduro modified frames to create Monsters for hillclimbing, over 1000cc, with Nitro and spiked-wheels.

The goal is simple: get as high as possible, as fast as possible. Each competitor had 4 chances and whoever reach the top faster or covers the most gets the trophy.

2. Wouldn’t a lighter bike (enduro, trials) be better?

I don’t think most arm chair folks in this comment section realize exactly how steep this hill is. If someone who rides like this has taken the time to build a frankenbike to take it on, they are well aware of what they’re up against.
