BEST TACOS in Las Vegas - Tacos El Gordo or Tacos El Pastor?!

When staying on the Las Vegas Strip, there is a common question that comes up all the time. Where is the cheap eats? So when we stayed at the Wynn Hotel, we heard there was a taco place just down the street and is considered cheap eats. So we made our way to Tacos El Gordo and Tacos El Pastor.

To make it a bit more interesting I decided to go to both Tacos El Gordo and Tacos El Pastor and order the same tacos from both restaurants to see which tacos are the best. Of course, these opinions are my opinions and you could have different opinion. So if you've been to both of these restaurants, which tacos are better? Leave a comment below and let me know.

The part about these taco restaurants being cheap eats is a bit questionable. As each taco is over $3.50 and you get 2 to 3 bites. Most grown adults can eat 3 or more tacos. But if you put these tacos up against most meals on the vegas strip, I can see why they are considered cheap eats.

Yep the pale chilli you had was most probably a guero chilli ("blonde" chilli) and very similiar to the heat level of a jalapeno. It is a very typical side dish to have whole sauteed (chili) peppers and onions. I think El Gordo is overhyped btw

There is a tacos el gordo a few miles from my house. It seems the prices on the Strip are higher than the local restaurants. The green sauce is what makes the al pastor better at tacos el gordo for me.
