Monokai is my favorite theme, but I'm using a variant that has dark grey as the background instead of the brown background I've seen with most other variants. There's nothing wrong with One Dark or Dark+, or any of the stock-ish looking dark themes, but there's too little contrast for me.

"Cute" is the best theme, no contest.

The NT one tries, but doesn't quite hit the mark. I still stand by that windows NT4 and 2k were functionally the nicest to use, but the NT theme feels more like a joke (or unfinished) :(
