The problem for almost anyone doing a program of physical therapy is that it can get boring and hard to maintain focus on prescribed goals. How many times have you been given a physical therapy program you didn't do properly?
Our Occupational and Physiotherapists told us they would love a simple tech solution to monitor, motivate and engage clients in order to drive compliance and maximise the likelihood of therapy goals being met.
THE RESULT! LusioMATE, a wearable gaming controller, attachable to any part of the body, which connects, via bluetooth, to our LusioHub App which is downloadable to all mobile devices and smart TVs. In the LusioHUB App players can access an ever growing number of fun games created to entertain and motivate them through their physical therapy programs, at home, in clinic, anytime, anywhere.
Who can LusioMATE help?
Simple. Any aged group, of any physical capability, who requires physical therapy to practice movements, with a range of motion from 5 degrees, as prescribed by clinicians.
LusioMATE is especially designed for doing physical therapy and physio games outside of the clinician’s appointment, as part of a home program - home rehab or rehab in the home if you will. Furthermore, clinicians can monitor progress and update prescriptions remotely via the dashboard within the games. It was originally developed in very close consultation with the Cerebral Palsy Alliance clinicians and families, to help kids with CP. The CPA loved the idea of CPA gaming and offering games to help kids with their therapy. Its use has now extended well beyond as we see it as being able to offer rehab games therapy and goal directed training to help anyone lacking motivation to get up, move their body and do necessary exercise.
LusioMATE is a class 1 medical device accredited by the Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia, as well as a proud NDIS provider under AT, low cost, low risk. It can be funded through your NDIS funding budget and a variety of NDIS funding categories.
