Good clear video for a double curtain that closes and opens towards the center. Unfortunately, it is not well explained how to cut the belt to length with 1 curtain. That is 2x the length of a double curtain + 2 extra teeth. (included in the manual)

Method: measure the distance of 1 half, as shown in the video. Draw a line with a pencil where you would cut the two halves. Now CAREFULLY fold the belt in half with the teeth facing outwards. BUT PLEASE NOTE: do not press together. Otherwise a fold will occur in the belt!!!! So leave a small loop on the pencil line and make sure that the teeth on the left and right of the loop only line up after about 3 to 4 teeth. Now squeeze the strap firmly together from the point where the teeth meet back to back with one hand and place the rest of the length on top of each other so that you have exactly 2 equal lengths. Add 2 extra teeth at the end and cut the belt behind those 2 extra teeth.
You now have a double length belt with 2 extra teeth.

how do I attach this to a wall rather than a ceiling? This video and the instructions don't include wall mounting. There are side mount pieces but I don't see how to attach them anywhere.

When I open the curtain how close can I make the curtain on one side? How much will the curtain squish together?

Beware. I ordered two. installed the first one with no problem. The second one had a mix of older end-caps( square )and new motor (round.) Zemismart sent replacement end caps. I didn’t notice that the thumb drive was not in the box, probably because the older models, which was everything in the box but the motor, did not have a thumb drive. Zemismart no longer will respond to my emails about getting a thumb drive. The curtains will not work via phone or Alexis or remote without this. Completely unable to use the curtains as I intended.

How can I measure the length of the belt if I connect the 90 degree on one side of the track? (double open from center)

it does not show how to cut the SINGLE rail belt. the instruction manual also shows how to cut the double rail cut, having me to buy a new rail track for 12 usd +-, but even worse. having to wait 2 months in order to continue building this belt. STILL NOT KNOWING HOW TO CUT THE BELT PROPERLY >:(
