EWAB Shot pin - Extra fixation of a workpiece carrier

Every now and then our customers are asking us to keep the workpiece carrier “extra still” in an operation.
For example, this can be for laser marking, without taking the part out of the carrier, or when you need extreme accuracy before machining.

A very common solution for fixation is a “Shot Pin”. It is a simplified mechanical innovation for fixation of workpiece carriers. We have both pneumatic and full electric versions of the Shot Pin.

The Workpiece carrier is transported on the plastic chain by friction.
