You must have been the absolute best Scoutmaster. Both my boys had a fantastic Scoutmaster, and you remind me so much of him. Thank you for making such a great impact on those boys. I know you taught them to be good boys and even better men!

Excellent presentation John. The bayomet being itilized as a wire cutter is something I had never seen before. I do remember, in the past, wondering what the extra "bump" on the sheath was for. Also really like that folding machete. I have had times where that would have come in real handy.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Nice folding machete, I regularly use a U.S. airforce tool in my garden. The Woodsman's Pal. They used to use them for clearing airfields, and I can hook out bushes without having to put my hands in with any snakes that might be curled up in there. It is amazing how many army tools I use on a regular basis and they still work as good as new. e.g. German folding entrenching tool, Swedish Army Trangia stove and mess kit. It makes me wonder how many of our current tools will still be perfectly usable in 70 or 80 years from now?

You taught the old dog a new trick. I’ve never seen the knife for knots. Thank you.

Good video on your knife collection. I really like the folding machete. I hear you about the trees but when they become a risk to the house they have to be dealt with. I hate cutting them down. Thanks again.

I saw one of those folding machetes last year at an estate sale for $10, now I wish I had bought it. Great video.
