I agree with the temp saving him. I worked 8 years Fire/EMS and we had to study cases of people crushed under ice or fell through and have recovered of up to 40-45 minutes without breathing. I guess thats why they always told us, "you're not dead until you're warm and dead."

I used to work as a technician for the Hamburg 🇩🇪 underground railway. When trains had been involved in accidents like the one MrBallen described, we had to check if anything was damaged and/ or that the train was in a correct working condition. One day a train came into the depot that had run over a man lying on the tracks of an underground station. The astounding thing was that the entire length of the train with nine carriages had run over this hurting him at all, apart from a few scratches ! Now, for this to have been even possible, the man must have been lying in a very tiny area beneath the train to have avoided all the train's various technical devices that hung underneath, and just a difference of his position measured in a mere couple of inches would have killed him instantly ! That insanely lucky man must have had a whole legion of guardian angels protecting him that day, for his survival was nothing else but a miracle. 😮

Lately I've seen some people trying to be story tellers on YouTube and Facebook... None of them are as informative, entertaining, or seems to actually care about what the stories want to say.
