Looks great good job, going to try this myself as a diyer, what screws did you use to fix timber to wall and floor( my chimney chest the same layout as this ) my walls are plastered over bricks no plasterboard.thanks

It would of made more sense to make a void behind the media wall to run cables and a socket. You probably never plan to but if that fireplace wanted to be used and refurbed you would have to take all wiring and socket out as wouldn’t meet regs. Why put in a fake fireplace when you would of achieved a more classy look with a real fireplace underneath
