My dad bought one of the first dualies that year. He used it until the early 80s pulling gooseneck cattle trailers. Around 1985 the thing was still running so he sold it.

That era of truck is great. The 350v8 is practically bulletproof. The frames are built well. Those trucks can haul and tow a decent amount. Overall very good trucks.

A great step forward in trucks, the only problem up here was that G.M. s choice of steel and rustproofing all the way to 76 made them the fastest dissolving truck also . Still do miss when a truck was a truck .

Man. These square bodies are hard to find. At least in my area. They are overpriced if you find one.
