70 Neel Gagan Ki Chhaon Mein

A very beautiful song from The film Amrapali (1966). Vyjantimala is a real Apsara and her dance is flawless and unmatched in performance. Based on Raag Bhopali its music is by the duo Shankar Jaikishan who gave a highly restrained yet fully Indian classical music-based score in the four songs in this movie. We can marvel at the culture and heritage of that era. Lyrics are written by Shailendra and an excellent performance by Lata Mangeshkar. I cannot show the video but only the song which is just too good to miss.
