Cycling the Trans-Himalaya - Part 2

"Most of the ride was places where no tourists has probably ever gone. It was way of the beaten track. It was a very beaten track! But it was really neat. It was wonderful."

From the hill station at Shimla, the riders descend a great deal into pine and oak forests. After a stop in Rishikesh next to the Ganges river they eventually return to the high mountains and cross into Nepal for the final stretch on rugged backroads to Kathmandu.
