Almost no information as to where it was found. The video is just an information on those vehicles, but no report about the actual find.

*I have 1 friend. His parents grew up during World War II, and they were traumatized by it. Now that he's an adult, he understands why they couldn't express love to him and his brother. The war had stripped them of the ability to show kindness and affection. His grandparents couldn't show it to his parents, and his parents couldn't show it to him and his brother. He has suffered so much, his parents suffer, and their families suffer as well. And he hopes that his son won't have to suffer. He pours all his love into his child. The best he can. When the war ended, it took generations for mental health to recover.*

M2 halftrack were also lend lease vehicles. Supplied to Britain and the Soviets during WW2.

Depending where in Germany it was found It's just as likely to be a Russian service vehicle.

It's interesting how the half-track concept died with end of WWII. Post war it was realized the dual track concept was flawed. The wheeled portion limited the tracks in very rough terrain. And the tracks limited the wheeled portions speed when needed. These are just a few issues.

Weird to give dimensions and sizes for an American vehicle in metric 🤔

Actually very minimal use by Marines in the Pacific. Too large and heavy causing many logistical issues. The Marines primarily used LVT's on the smaller islands. That said however, it was used somewhat on Okinawa given the land size of that battle.

Cheap to make. They moved the rear drive forward and made a sprocket wheel that was nutted to the brake drum. Cuningham made the bogies.

Come on, it's a US vehicle. Give the dimensions in feet and inches, speed in MPH. BTW, where the hell was it found and WTF happened to it?

If I remember correctly this was found in Hawaii

You even stick to metric when quoting US specs. Usually, the US is the largest audience for this type of historical content. Wouldn't it nice to provide both units of measure?

Pointless video. Why waste our time other than to get a little more traffic when you have nothing to offer?
