I just hit 255 as a one rep max on flat bench, and 100s for 8 with dumbells, which is the heaviest dumbells my gym has. feels good brah. Keep up the hard work baj. you're definetly doing a good job.

Yeh man I agree with the motivational speaker comment ive had a couple days off and feeling abit lazy towards the gym n stuff, watched this video now on my way to train haha keep it up man!

ur right about the strength / hypertrophy split on bulk but on a cut u dont wanna put endless volume on ur muscles
but rather high weights and make a shorter but very intense workout to tell ur body u need those muscles without comepletly burning them in endless reps like ud to in a bulk
going some kind of deload for a whole week seems risky for muscle loss mate

im on a tight diet and i start out with heavy weight like 110kg 8x3 benchpress and 8x3 50kg dumbells in flat and a light opward angle to pump to get the great volume and  after this i go to cables and light dumbells to shape my mucles:)

Bench press strength suffers the most when on a cutting diet as it is the most proportionate to body weight and composition. 
A lot of strength athletes can still make strength gains in squats and DLs on a cut (although it would be advisable to have it on a higher carb day).


What's your warm up routine like prior to upper body/lower body sessions and how long do you take warming up?

Question as to why I never see you really doing decline chest? I tend to do regular bench, inclined and then decline. Is this not really needed? Sorry, I'm not THAT knowledgeable (not really at all) about weither I need to focus a lot on decline.
