I'm 1, 000, 000% sure they are waiting until October or November to reveal the Switch 2 and they will release it around Christmas time so they can have absolutely ginormous sells

Why would they announce and show the system unless they released it this year? Showing a system and not releasing it, would kill the holiday season hardware sales and would make them miss their sales targets, therefore reducing their share price potentially. This doesn't make sense to me.

Metroid Prime IV is set for a 2025 release. I really doubt, they will announce the Switch 2 long before that and that only given, the game is a multi generation title. Otherwise I wouldn't wonder for a q3 or q4 release in 2025 for the new machine. Nintendo really doesn't seem to be in a hurry here and the sales of the old Switfch are still surprisingly stable, although declining slowly.

A 40 minute combo presentation means one of the two is abnormally short. But if COD is being announced for Switch that explains everything. Its a franchise big enough for its own presentation, but mostly for the west. So that's why this is in front of PAX, when the normal September Directs are timed to Tokyo Game Show. There will probably be another Direct next month.

It is a nice shock. Hoping a few surprises are announced ( hollow knight silksong, additions to nso DK64 and Diddy kong racing etc.) Any trailer or teaser of switch2 at the end will make my week! It's hype time. The train is ready!😮😮😊

I’m definitely all out for Hollow Knight Silksong Official Gameplay Announcement trailer to showcasing tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase + Indie World Direct first-time “Exclusively over 7 years” since Switch’s Debut Development Final Production Lifecycle. I am aware and have belief they’ll have little 🔥 of Surprises like: Another New Call Of Duty coming to Nintendo Switch and other theories to speculation for this *Hypothetical* reveal announcement.


I’m predicting right now it’s likely that we will probably have an approaching Switch 2 Announcement reveal around til September or October release by for the Nintendo Switch | The Modern Gaming Era.
