Debunk of myth #3 is false. There is actually a difference in boat speed depending on the wind orientation. You can easily check it with a mod like ESP.
Though the difference is not luch between tailwind and cross-tail wind is not much, the difference can go up to -30% speed with a cross-head wind (i.e. only 6m/s instead of 9m/s for instance !) you can actually see this difference in wind efficiency with the brightness of the sailong circle. Orientations which provides most efficiency is brigter, and darker angles shows where you lose the most efficiency.

TBH giving deer a sense of smell would be very cool because it would give the wind indicator another use outside of sailing. You'd have to approach from down wind or they'll run off.

Pretty sure the resistance status means 50% and not 25%. If I take a fire resistance barley wine I will take 50% less damage from fire not 25%

Noise is pretty much the reason why you get overwhelmed in the ashlands so easily.

I'm curious how you tested the terraforming myth to debunk it. I've been playing for years and while the old update did significantly improve things major terraforming still causes a performance drop in multiplayer settings.

I'm not talking about smoothing out the ground for base building, but digging trenches and pitfall traps.
Digging out basements, etc

I've seen it firsthand too many times on the big servers I've played on where restoring original terrain clears up performance issues.
Too many builds having too be abandoned because of moats.

This is how you earn a sub, sir!!! I'll be upgrading every single one of my crafting stations and stop wasting stamina dodging in the wrong direction!

I believe the myth that your mod review series will be your most viewed group of videos

Many also doesn't realise that if you are not holding any weapons or tools and the tool tip pops up that means 1 or more entities are aware of your presence either fleeing, searching for you or know where you are, very good to use to check if you are alone, especially in plains vs deatshsquittos

starting the video immediatily with a straight up fact, the perfect way to start the video unlike many other that promotes the sub button and many other things for a minute and 2

nice video 👍

so you do 4/3 weapon damage in total when hitting multiple enemies, no matter how many total enemies there are.

I have like 500 hours in the game and I knew all of these except for. 15 that is fascinating I had no idea the work bench area is extended with each upgrade

#3 - assuming you don't use Moder... you will often be much better off "tacking" across the wind instead of paddling into it. Unless of course the wind is pretty calm. Having sailed small boats IRL, Valheim actually does a pretty good job modeling this. Am hoping for a sailing skill that will improve top sail speed, acceleration, and turn speed.

We need a MOD to make random weather honestly.

I did not know about the workbench and forge radius that are being increased with each upgrade! Always learning something new

I definitely still believed the terraforming causing lag and the deer smelling you ones. The wind angle not affecting speed...I still don't believe you on that one :P

You could add to Myth #2 that the starter bow and finewood bow both have "bloom" in their shots. In other words, even if you draw them fully, the arrow will not go exactly where you aim. It will be off slightly in random directions compared to where you aim, especially the further away your target. It's really bad with the first bow and slightly less bad with the Finewood bow. There doesn't seem to be much bloom to the Huntsman bow and the rest after that.

I definitely have thrown tin ore on unfamiliar ground while scouting, built a base, and gotten it again. Maybe my world doesn't have enough objects to care about despawning?

Very nice video covering a lot of things in a short amount of time.
I still believe there is a certain area just after the no wind zone where it is faster to set sail but not as fast as wind from behind

regarding the fall height one, its been forever since i've done this since i only did it once and never again. i had jumped off a mountain with the floaty cape, and as i got near the ground i unequipped my cape to save a few seconds, it killed me. i feel like i definitely unequipped it in the safe zone of 20m or less. but i dont wanna test that out again and lose level(s) XD
