How to put a disc into PlayStation 5 Slim or the original PlayStation 5.

Oh, Thank You for this! JUST got my PS5 Slim today, it's SO different than my PS4 Pro, not even putting in the discs is the same! I had NO IDEA I had to register my Disc Drive first, or, it won't work! Never had to do that before. I thought it was broken, lol! SO glad I'm not the only one that NO CLUE how to do this!🤣 New Sub!

Step one : Put PS5 in the PROPER POSITION!!!!

The proper position is —— and not |.

This reduces disc scratches and allows for proper airflow and doesn’t allow the Liquid Metal to leak.

Thank you bro. It’s been literal years since I owned a PlayStation after moving to PC and my muscle memory from PS3 was to insert the disc, cover art facing away from me (from vertical position). I was about to do that but I was like, hold the damn phone lemme search this just in case cause I dont wanna brick my disc drive 😭

I just got my ps5 today for Christmas and I’m trying to play the last of us part 2. I tried to insert the disc and it won’t work no matter what I do. I guess I’m waiting for the last of us part 2 remastered.

Idk I need help I have the regular ps5 and a new Madden 24 disc 💿 just ˇ(ˇˍˇ)  opened it and it says unreadable disc 💿but it's brand new
