I have been so anxious about when and how travel will resume too. My husband works in film, and his show has been filming in Eastern Europe, but everything has been on hold, and we are so wanting to get moving. It is a bummer not having any travel to look forward to at the moment. Swimming with whales would be such an amazing way to celebrate your birthday. Hoping you can make 41 extra special! Wow! Trillions?! That’s so sad. I also really feel bad for developing nations that rely economically on travel. I’m hoping the US-Canadian border opens soon, because I’m currently stuck in Montreal and have been wanting to take a mini trip to Vermont soon. I guess I will get to know more of Canada in the meantime too!

Honestly loved this video! I’m so curious about how this will effect travel in the future! A trip was cancelled for myself due to ‘Rona & I’m wondering WHEN I can go next 😭 so I totally loved the deep dive into these questions everyone’s wondering!! New subscriber here 🤗

I had a trip that was supposed to happen last week but now I had to move it to September... I didn’t want to do it but personally didn’t think it would be very helpful to get the FULL experience of the area while social distancing ... I loved that you brought light to the struggles and genuine compassion for the health care workers . They certainly do not paid enough to be exposed to such a dangerous time ! I haven’t flown anywhere that needs a passport but maybe one day, my bucket list is to visit the Lupins in New Zealand

Another amazing video Nikki! Loved the keyworker tribute, they are all working so hard and are real heroes. You must be missing travelling so much, I can't believe your birthday is coming up and you can't go away 😭 Hope you still find something epic to do locally! We've been exploring local beauty spots in lockdown, we never appreciated before just how much we had on our doorstep! We were supposed to be going to Morocco in summer but I don't think it will happen, borders are still closed at the moment. Don't forget to add it to your post covid travel list though! ❤❤❤

Yesss. I am the exact same. 2020 was supposed to be SOOO busy with traveling for me, mostly to friend's weddings but we were literally saying "omg, we're traveling so much in 2020!". We went to Wisconsin in Feb for a wedding, and that was the last time. We're supposed to be traveling to Illinois in Sept and Hawaii in Oct both for weddings, but I'm really nervous to travel still!

It is nerve-wracking right now to think about traveling. We were supposed to go to Disney in 3 months but even that would be stressful I think. I am so ready for this to be over!

I was actually really curious as to what air travel was gonna be like internationally. I've been on flights in the past from Canada to Australia, where after you land they don't let anyone of the plane until it's been disinfected (takes about 10mins). But I found it funny flying from the US to Australia there was no disinfection procedure. Either way looks like we are all gonna be spending more time in airports when we want to travel. Great video also!!!

Canada is gorgeous! Here in Chicago, people are having house parties up to 100 people in a house 🙄. It terrible that people only listen if someone they know and love is affected.

Fellow travel junkie 🙋🏻‍♀️ and I’m jonesing. Lol. Our anniversary weekend we ended up staying home because our state was shutting down(mid March). We planned to do it bigger and better, and go somewhere even better within a couple months. We had no idea things were going to get this crazy.. now we have no idea when we’ll be traveling far now. Honestly I don’t even trust the reopening and plan to stay home outside of work and essential trips, we want to ride it and see how things go with a 2nd wave before we return to “normal”. We’re really hoping we’ll be able to go somewhere farther for our next anniversary. Lol. We want to be safe though. It’s just not worth it, esp with both of us being asthmatic.

I have to travel to China a lot for work and I don’t feel comfortable going there until next year and that depends on the second wave that will most likely happen. My husband is also an essential worker who gets exposed to people and I worry if I travel I may be the one spreading it to 100s of people I come in contact with. My family is out of state and id love to see them but would hate to infect them! I can’t take a direct flight so my exposure is much higher as well! Travel to me at least is already a pain and I think all the new heath and safety measures will be amazing, I think it will make it more of a pain especially for those who have to travel for work.

hey! i just travelled to portugal last week, they reopened their borders to tourism (you can check out my channel for the vlog). honestly i felt so travelling there - it was mandatory to wear masks, you have to hand sanitise your hands before entering a building, people kept their social distancing. on planes you HAVE to wear masks or you'll be denied entry. when travelling in portugal it was so beautiful! noone was around but locals. we were able to explore beaches with hardly anyone around.
