I have owned close to a dozen RC's from Tamiya, Kyosho and Cen. Due to financial reasons had to get rid of all of them except one, my Brushless Summit. I love this platform so much I ordered another New Summit roller in ebay as a back up just in case Traxxas discontinues this truck. All in all the Summit for me is the only RC I need and want. Very Versatile and Durable.

Have the revo and the summit. Wouldn't part with either! I'll definitely never let the summit go... of all I have it's certainly the most fun! Never any nagging worries when you're driving it. It's pretty bulletproof as long as you don't fully submerge it (like you see in some videos!)

@ScooteringRC Yeah, all motors are waterproof. They can rust overtime if left with water in them, however, so it's important to dry them out after running. ESCs are what have to be manually waterproofed. :)

I'm sure someone may have already said this, and it's a minor point but...foyer (foyyay)=front hall...forray=exploration of the unfamiliar :) BTW, thank you for all the great vids. I am an avid watcher. Keep it up!

Yes you can (2 x 2s for a total of 4s) but you are risking damaging your lipos. You could buy a cheap $5 low voltage alarm and hook that to your bec side of the esc to let you know when to stop running and recharge. There are also low voltage cutoffs as well that will cut the power for around $20.

Ya there is 2 lights on the front and 2 on the back... They actually give off a fair amount of light. Again both front and back lights work and you can also get top lights for it if you want. :)

@Jayhawker150 long last? dunno ours still works, yes lipos, and yes...no why would you have to replace the motor?

Very informative video that you guys made. I have a couple questions. If I wanted to use lipo batteries is the truck already setup to use them as far connectors and also how long can the truck be driven ? Using the stock batteries ? Also the lipo batteries?

i noticed at 1:45 that the tires are on the wrong way round like all the other people have told you! i had a look at the ones on m 1/16 summit vxl they where like that too! but that was my fault because i bought two new tires for it because i had blown up two tires. in the process of swapping the wheels i obviously didnt look at what way i was putting them on! :P
